Sports Cars

The Audio TT and other two seaters are nice, but a lot of people don’t like them long term. Two seats and no luggage room can be a pain. They make great second cars however. I thought of getting an MR2 Spyder but it’s so tiny it’s almost impractical even as a second car. It has no trunk at all, just a little storage area where you’d be lucky to fit a gym bag. Plus the MR2 Spyder is Miata sized and I kind of think that anyone around 6’ and over 200 pounds would look funny in it, you know?

Other good options-- the Nissan 350Z, due out in August. Get the track model if you want real speed. The base model should be around 31k. Mazda is also releasing the RX-8 in early '03. Looks pretty sporty but has a back seat so it’s practical. This one is supposed to be in the 31k range too.

I’m with Tommyboy on the import scene your best buy is the Honda S2000 or the Acura RSX type S with the Superchage/turbo kit. Nos is a definate added extra that will have you asking for a rag to clean yourself.
