I was wondering if a split routine or full body routine would be better as far as working out. I prefer full body, but my goals are weight loss and gaining strength
Full body could easily be used to accomplish those goals.
Full body trainng is great for beginners. Check out Chad Waterbury's stuff.
There's no real "better" plan, but like the guys said, I think a full body or upper/lower split would work best for your situation.
