Spike in the Morning

I workout two times per day (ala Waterbury). First thing in the morning, I have a scoop or two of Grow!, and in 45 mins I start my AM workout with a serving of Surge.

Question: To maximize its effectiveness, when should I take the morning dose of Spike? Should I wait until just before my workout or take it with that early morning protein drink? Or split the difference?

I have found Spike to be more effective when taken on an empty stomach? Have you?

I like it 45-60 mins pre w/o its long lasting enough and this assures the right frame of mind etc for me.

So Id say first thing IMO

I have no problem with the empty stomach thing etc. I imagine if I tried it when STUFFED that may be different but not after just a regular ole meal or two.
