I’m curious how much the whole trip cost?
StevenF - I haven’t done the sums we got the international tickets on frequent flyers which definitely helped alot…but to give you an idea of some rough costings over there…
Beer - $1
Average main course meal - $2-$8
Average accommodation (private bathroom) with or without a/c depending on how we fealt and what was available - $7-$30 per night - most of the time included breakfast
Average taxi ride (tuk tuk or back of motorbike) - $1-$3 anywhere in a city
Domestic flight approx $40-$70 each
Domestic a/c minibus trip between towns - $8-$14
Tourist Visa - $20-50 depending on which country
Shopping - everything is cheap eg. bought a leather jacket with sheep skin lining for $30!!
Motorbike hire - $5-$15 per 24 hours
