Sounds Grim

Surely not!

There’s gonna be a lot of bodies…

Based on observed changes in HDL and LDL, Grunfeld estimates that heart attack risk would be increased 58 percent among men taking 20 milligrams of oxandrolone per day, two-fold with a 40 milligram daily dose, and three-fold with 80 milligrams.

Where was the control group in this study? They did not compare the cardiac risk to a group of age-matched men who were HIV negative.

Most HIV positive people take protease inhibitors to control their disease. PI’s also increase risk of heart attack, due to a more significant rise in “bad” cholesterol than Anavar does.

There are many HIV-related mechanisms that contribute to an increased risk of heart attack. Too bad this flawed study failed to recognise this fact.

Always a good idea to get some bloodwork done to make sure your levels are in check.

Wow, steroids are bad for you. Big surprise there. Who gives a shit. They also happen to have a profound upside. The next 20 posts are gonna be people screaming and qouting “scientific” research to prove steroids are not harmful. Who gives a fuck. Be a man, take your juice, and accept that there’s gonna be some bad with the good.

VS what?

A fat bellied guy with low T and high E is a way greater risk than 58%. Again compare to what? And not all use that drug. Eating fast food frequently is probably more dangerous. Can we talk about smokers?

Guys do not take that for years non stop, or they are stupid and deserve an early Darwin award.

This situation does not in anyway represent the risks of informed use of gear.

We do not need alarmist posts… where are the bodies?
