Son of Hamas Leader Renounces Islam

Good thing this guy is in America or he’d end up like that girl with her tongue cut out if he were back home…It’s an interesting read.

Tongue cut out? Try dead-by-bullets.

It’s not exactly fresh news, Pat. The interview may be an “interesting read” to some, but it’s mostly a train-wreck.

Why should anyone care anyway? Is it because he carries some Sheikh’s genes? I, for one, couldn’t possibly care any less.

“Let there be no compulsion in religion” – Quran 2:256

What’s wrong with many wives? I knew he had numerous wives. I didn’t think it was that big a secret.

But I agree with the rest of what he’s saying.

Especially this. There is nothing more dangerous than blind faith.

He’s infiltrating that poor community and getting them to trust him.

Then he’s going to push the button on the suicide pack.

MOSAB HASSAN YOUSEF: Such as Muhammad’s wives. You will never go to a mosque and hear about anyone talking about Muhammad’s wives, which is like more than 50 wives, and nobody knows (this), by the way. If you ask the majority of Muslims, they will not know this fact.

It’s not. And it never was. That’s what I meant by the interview being a train-wreck. You just know the guy isn’t a bright bulb when he makes up this stupid statement about “the majority of Muslim” not knowing the prophet had plenty of wives.

[quote]Why did God give them minds? Open their hearts. Read the Bible. Study their religion. I want to open the gate for them, I want them to be free. They will find a good life on earth just by following God, and they’re also going to guarantee the other life.

Absolutely! He also makes a good point when he says that 90% of Muslims don’t know their faith. Most of what Muslims know is relayed tradition; i.e: what the elderly told them. That’s the open door to all sorts of crap.

Thing is, most of them can’t even read to begin with. Adding insult to injury, most Muslims don’t even know Arabic. How then can they study the Word of God?

Anyway, Islam as I understand it, opposes the sheep mentality.

“None will grasp the message but those who use their brains” – Quran 2:269

“Most certainly, the worst of animals in Allah’s sight are the deaf, the dumb who do not use their brains.” – Quran 8:22

But go tell that to the Al-Sauds and see if they don’t hang you.

It’s all about power, dear.

Do I have to explain what Muslims actually believe about this
surah, or will you come clean on your own?

You can opt to pay the tax?

The verse is actually longer what I quoted.

Here’s the sentence that comes right after.

“Truth stands out clear from Error” – Quran 2:256

If you can’t see what that means, you’re simply not trying.

So when the sacred months have passed away, then slay the idolaters wherever you find them, and take them captives and besiege them and lie in wait for them in every ambush, then if they repent and keep up prayer and pay the poor-rate, leave their way free to them; surely Allah is Forgiving, Merciful

And fight with them until there is no more persecution and religion should be only for Allah; but if they desist, then surely Allah sees what they do.

Fight those who do not believe in Allah, nor in the latter day, nor do they prohibit what Allah and His Messenger have prohibited, nor follow the religion of truth, out of those who have been given the Book, until they pay the tax in acknowledgment of superiority and they are in a state of subjection

What does knowing Arabic have to do with anything?

Context, hon. Context.

Dear? Hon? Lixy, you’re scaring me.

lixy, the Palestinian terrorists flashed this surah up on the screen in the forced conversion video they made of Fox news reporter STeve Centanni. Centanni, I’m sure, had Danny Pearl in mind when he decided to choose option 1. Now either you explain the meaning of this surah or I will.

You’re not doing anything new here. CAIR likes to use this surah all the time to try to bamboozle us kuffar. I’d like to give you the benefit of the doubt that you are one of those peaceful Muslims that has their own understanding of the Qur’an, but you’re pattern is just too similar to that of CAIR associates and others who tell partial truths to confuse us. Moreover, you’re America hatred is strikingly similar to OBL’s “GReat Satan” rhetoric, and you always fail to show compassion for any of the victims of Islam, like the Christian girl murdered by her father in Saudi ARabia or the girl murdered in Atlanta by her father.

And the idea that the Saudis have somehow got some perverted version of Islam that they want to force on everyone else is laughably absurd, because Islam was invented in that very same region and has existed undisturbed since MOhammed.

Because Islam is a vehicle for Arab supremacism, and ARabs, like lixy, think that all Muslims should act like wannabe ARabs.

What context?

2:256 - Muhammed entering Medina and is very vulnerable. No army of any consequence. Wants to be friends.

Sura 8 and 9 - Big army and feeling powerful. Sura 2 is abrogated. Now instead of getting along Allah wants muslims to kill non beleivers unless they decide to beleive or become Dimi.

That context?

The verse you quoted was nulified. Allah instructed that it be forgotten.

Well, if you know what “Allah instructed” there’s probably little point to debating this with you.

The Quran isn’t a compilation of instructions. It’s a collection of stories, wisdom, descriptions, orders to the prophet, orders to Mankind, etc. There are passages that are clearly meant as general guidelines. Others, were specific bits and pieces destined to particular events. And that’s where using your brains comes into play.

But hey, if you really think Muslims are supposed to go on killing and kidnapping sprees everytime “the sacred months have passed away”, that what precedes or follows a verse isn’t to be considered and that common sense should never come into question, you should consider consulting for an Islamist group. They’ll love you.

And this is why nobody should be “born” into a religion. Indoctrination can often override intelligence.

Uh, yeah. That’s precisely what Surah 9 states and precisely what Muslims do. Say, aren’t the sacred months coming right up?
