If I could, I would just buy the same bat I’ve had, but they don’t make it anymore. My Demarini DW I bought in 2008 broke at practice last night. Dick’s has a DW on the site, but not the 28oz. What’s out there in the $200 range that will perform like the Demarini DW?
I’m 5’7, 200 and I hit in the 3 hole for power. My power is to slightly left center to RC (left handed batter). I stand at the plate wide (really wide) open and use a lot of wrist whip.

Im a Miken Freak fan myself, love that bat, ball travels well, sweet spot is huge, just not durable this is my second in 4 years

That’s my other bat. I like it OK, but I just get better pop for my swing out of the Demarini Double Wall. I called Demarini and they have a new bat out called the SF4 that’s supposed to be the same design. I’ll probably hit the Freak in practice next Monday and see how it goes. Maybe wait until next season to buy a new bat, but if the Freak breaks like yours I’m hosed…
