sodium and potassium.

My friend went to his doctor the other day for a physical. When his blood work came back he was low in sodium and potassium. So the doctor recommended staying off protien suppliments because they tend to draw these out of the blood. He is to do this for 2 weeks the retest. Now I have never heard this before, but that does not mean it is not true. Anyone heard of this?

Did he tell him to stay off red meat, poultry, fish, eggs, dairy, and every single source of incomplete protein as well?

Yes, I’m being sarcastic.

I hear ya. I thought the same thing. He just told him to stop the protien powder.
