Snatch Grip vs Regular Grip Deads?

Whats the difference? I know that some experts think snatch grip will put more muscle on.

I train for mma, which lift is better?

Both.

Personally, I do “walk ins.” I start with a snatch grip, do a set, add weight, move my grip in closer, add weight, etc. I do this until I’m in a sumo stance.

Since I can lift the most weight in a “traditional” dead lift leg and hand spacing, I drop the weight a bit on the set of sumos.

Train both. The snatch grip (do it on a 2 inch box to make it even harder) gives a longer range of motion = harder, also working from a deffecit (off a box) means you’r pulling farther than a tradition deadlift (again, longer range of motion) I train for PL, so it helps me get more off the floor starting power, for MMA it will do the same for rippin some opponent of the ground and suplexing him. but agian, do both, dont negelct anything
