Smolov Cycle With Box Squats?

Completed the first week of a Smolov. Legs are doing ok. Have not lifted (seriously lifted) since the last BB contest in the first week of December. It is good to get back under the weights…will run a mini Smolov for the bench when I complete this cycle and do a second Smolov after the mini…

Or just keep it real simple and stick with a Mon/Wed/Fri schedule, and stretch the program by a week.

Day 1: Mon
Day 2: Wed
Day 3: Fri
Day 4: Mon
Day 5: Wed
Day 6: Fri

The Base Meso is 4 weeks or 16 lifts, but 2 of the days during the last week are rest days. So during the last week, you could rest on Monday and then work up to a near max on Wed and then finish it out that Friday. Seems better than cutting out days altogether.
