Smith Machine Squats vs No Squats

You can always buy some straps and use dumbbells depending on how high the DB’s go up to in your gym

GEEE, well lets take a look at how some of the jacked people train legs. I have seen many huge dudes smith squatting and leg pressing. But I guess it isn’t as ‘cool’ as db bulgarian squats or pistols.

Smith squats will not prevent you from making fine leg progress.

Is there an incline bench “rack” (not a cage) at your gym? Where you can place the bar and do seated mil. presses or incline presses?

You can use that.

In the smith imo stick to high bar position and don’t turn it into a semi-hack-squat… Sit between the legs with a somewhat wider stance if you want to go deep and not make it look like a good-morning.
(talking about a straight up/down smith, not an angled one)

Front squats actually work way better in the smith than regular squats, you could do those, too.

Seconded.

I agree with this one…
