Currently dealing with AC joint pain aggravated by pressing movements and got a physio appointment booked but I’m thinking of buying a reactive slingshot.
Would benching with a slingshot (not raw benching at all) for a few months or so still have carryover to the raw bench? Just so that I can still get some bench work in whilst my shoulder recovers.
Or hypothetically, would exclusively training with the slingshot indefinitely and then just doing raw to find maxes be a possibility, or is the carryover not really viable?
If you added 25kg to your slingshot, I’d expect your bench to improve or at least not regress.
I have have to say I dislike the slingshot, it feels awful on the shoulders for me - I prefer bands.
