Sleeping Trouble

Hey T-Nation folks,

Recently I have developed a new kind of sleep pattern that is worrying me.

Suppose I go to bed around 11p.m. I wake up atleast two to three times over my 8 hours of sleep(around 2am, 4am and 6am) to take a piss. However, it does not dip into my energy levels the following day. My concern is to know why I have suddenly started waking up over my period of sleep.

2-3 hours prior to sleep I have a can of tuna and a protein shake. While a lot of water is involved in consuming these two snacks, it is something I have been doing for a long time. Wonder why it has suddenly changed my sleeping and urinary habits.

Does anyone else have similar issues?



I’ve gone through periods like that myself, eating around the same time, 2-3 hours before sleep and drinking an assload of water all day, didnt think anything of it at the time, but when I started school last year and got into a pretty set routine my body seemed to calm down, now I only get up once during the night, I dont know much on this subject, but just making small adjustments in my daily routine seemed to help me out alot.
