SLDL and Hamstring Injury

Hi Paul,

I recently injured my hamstring doing SLDL and I know that you are very familiar with this lift. I feel the SLDL is a great exercise but I also think that it has a big risk of injury especially when you are pushing for those last reps.

Would you recommed avoiding the SLDL and just doing leg curls or just waitng and going back to the SLDL?

I’d use the SLDL to rehab the injury.

Anytime I injured myself on a lift, I used that lift to do the rehab. It’s an old Bill Starr thing, but it works.
