Your training concepts are very interesting. The SB program looks good for them. Can you give me some suggestions on how to tweak it to incorporate some explosive work to enhance vertical jump and rebounding strength?
Kytec puts out a rebound training device that holds a ball, is attached to a rubber cord and hooks up to a ceiling or basket support. I’ve had the athletes do some jump and grabs while wearing 2-6 pounds in a Smartvest. However, I’m unsure about sets/reps schemes, where to place this in the workout and whether this training should be done regularly or phased in and out.
