I’m going to call a doctor (or better yet dermatologist) tomorrow, but this is driving me crazy tonight. Does anybody know of any reason why the skin around where you had surgery would lose its pigmentation? From what I know of the condition, it kind of looks like I have vitiligo. The area around my scars is noticably whiter, flaky, and rough. It’s fucked up.
Just for the car-wreck value, I think we’re going to need pictures.
I’d like to see photos too, but only as a diagnostic tool. Tell me where the surgery was, when, what was done, etc. I did a two week dermatology residency somewhere in my 13 years of university. If I can’t help, no problem. It’s a sincere offer.
