Coming here for some ideas on quick simple meals packed with carbs and protein. I've always been allergic to some random ingredient in protein shakes but for some reason never had a reaction to the premixed ones at costco... until about a week ago.
So now I need to find a way to replace two meals. In the morning I used to have a protein shake with oatmeal and after my workout I'd do a protein shake with carb powder. The second meal can be OK as I can just rush home from the gym, but it's the first I'm struggling with.
So far I've come up with pasta mixed with those packs of salmon or rice mixed with cans of tuna.
Any other suggestions for quick fixes like this?
