Strongman Saturday 23 October

Sandbag work
11 rounds, Every second minute - 60kg bag - 22m
1 longer carry - about 40-50m
Push ups - 40, 20, 20

These carries are starting to feel a little easier. I am going to increase the distance next week and then will up the weight to 80 the following week.

Had my son with me as chief camera man today, he then wanted to do carry so I gave him a bag of potting mix and off he went.

Good little session.

I had a spare 5 mins this afternoon so decided it was time to knock out some burpees. Just got 50 in to feel how they go and I can confirm what I thought to be true… they suck!! These pathetic soup sarni burpees were just for you @ChongLordUno

Squats feeling heavy at the moment. Doing them less times per week is definitely not a good thing for me. Left lat giving me a little grief, I am guessing the sandbag work has made it grumpy.

Sissy BW + 10kg
3 x 20 - good burn, good pump, quads felt like they would burst !!

3 x max - 30, 20, 18
Alternate
Pull-up - BW
3 x max - 14, 8, 8
Lungs were the limiting factor here. I kept your rest short and was puffing hard

Training got delayed to Wednesday this week. It was a warm one today to, got up to 29c which really heated the shed up nicely !! Work is insane and stress is very high, sleep is non existent. Feeling weak as piss but happy to still be training.
