Shutdown of Natural Test Production

I was curious, does anyone know at what point does the body shut down it’s natural production of testosterone when testosterone is introduced from outside sources? (i.e. testosterone enanthate)

What I’m getting at is this:
Could you inject small amounts of test so that your free levels of testosterone increased to the point where you could have noticeable changes in muscle growth, yet still keep your bodies natural ability to produce testosterone?

Even a low dosage will shut you down. Synthetic testosterone does not supplement natural testosterone Your body sees it as one or the other, so any amount you inject your body will down regulate to what it considers it needs, your body does not produce a continous rate on top of what you use as an external source.

Gotcha.

Researchers use physiological/replacement doses to shut down testicular testosterone production if their study requires it. It doesn’t take much and it happens almost immediately. That’s why people recommend running test in every cycle. If you’re shut down anyway…

I’ve come across some anecdotal reports on another forum of people using small amounts of test suspension in the morning to mimick natural T release and experience no shutdown. A while back there was also a guy who took 2.5mg of dbol per day every day for a year and provided bloodwork which showed no evidence of HPTA suppression and anecdotally reported a gain in LBM which he believes he would otherwise have not received. Again, this is all anecdotal report.

I swear I read in a Bill Roberts intervies that he said even taking 100mg of dbol in the morning was not supressive to the HPTA…i belive he even recommend 100mg in the mor during PCT…said with its half life androgen levels would only be high for part of the day.
