Shoulders at Starting Pull Position

Should the shoulders be directly over the bar or as in front of it as possible at the starting position?

Seems like even if you start directly over the bar, you are changing the back angel almost right away to keep the shoulders over the bar.


Just over the bar or on top of. This will depend on your limb lengths but most lifters will start on top of nave have low hips. First action is to push away the floor maintain hip, shoulder angle and SWEEP the bar towards your upper thigh, knees go back in this action so the bar does not smash your knees

Make sure the CHEST DOES NOT DIP DOWN. This is a big NO NO NO.
