shoulder

I’ve had this weird sensation lately when lifting and afterwards. I’m not sure how long it’s been going on.

If I rotate my shoulder with my wrist fixed - for examPle if I am standing and my wrist is down by my side (arm vertical) and I slowly rotate my wrist and my upper arm toward my body…my shoulder will “pop”. It seems to be popping out of its socket almost. It’s not terribly painful, but doesn’t feel good either. Then it goes back in.

I’ve noticed this when lifting too, especially dumbbell presses.

Any idea what it is and how serious it is?

this in my opinion is most likely a tendon popping over another tendon/bone/whathaveyou. I lack the medical background to tell you exactly what it is, but I have had my shoulder dislocated, and I will tell you that it is nothing short of excruciating. If it is only “uncomfortable” it would be my best guess that it is not about to pop out of the joint. Hopefully someone with better background can help.
