how do you do the side press that pavel suggests? my right shoulder usually hurts a little after i bench or do shoulders.
My shoulder used to always hurt especially after bench press. It finally went away when I did a couple of things.
I cut back on the number of sets I was performing.
I warmed up with many sets but very few reps, so I did not tire the muscle
I used tempo prescriptions for the first time in my life. The slow lowering of the bar (402) really seemed to help.
I performed rotator cuff excercises. Again paying attention to tempo.
