This is my first post and I just wanted to say thanks to all of the T-Nation authors for all of their great insights, advice, and recommendations, as well as to all of the poster’s on T-Nation - you guys know your shit. Anyways, I just had open shoulder surgery 8/7/06(my second one) to repair a SLAP lesion, as I had MDI. I’ve read a lot of shoulder articles on T-Nation, and I don’t recall what their advice is regarding overhead pressing - does it cause impingement?
I stay away from upright rows, behind the neck lat pulldowns, and incline db curls. If overhead pressing is a bad idea, what other exercises would you all suggest?
