Shoulder Exercises Target What Parts?

I usually do:

D’bell shoulder press
Front raises
Bent over side laterals

Not sure of what part of the shoulders the above exercises stimulate…answers would be appreciated thanks.

There a diagram of a BB in this link which shows 4 diff parts of the shoulder if you could refer to them, when answering.


Front raises work the front (anterior)
Bent over laterals work the rear (posterior)
DB shoulder press works the anterior and medial

If thats your whole shoulder workout I would recommend throwing in some type of lateral raises to hit the side of your shoulder(wider shoulders)

yeah thanks im going to drop the front rasies and add in side lateral raises to hit the middle deltoid, as the my anterior deltoids should be getting worked enough from pressing movements.
