Should I still have a post workout shake with carbs after HIIT?

I started doing HIIT about 3 weeks ago in an attemt to burn off some bodyfat. If I run on a non lifting day, should I still consume my Post WO Shake with Dextrose afterwards, 2:1 ratio carbs to protein? Does it matter how long I wait after my HIIT session to drink it? Thanks

You should consume it immediatly after. Recent studies have shown that it has very little affect of the fat loss (no waiting an hour to let the fat (and muscle) burn… a la Bill Phillips)
