Shots Fired at Dallas Police HQ

#1

Explosives, automatic weapons, and armoured vehicles were used to attack Dallas Police HQ. With all the recent controversy regarding the "militarization" of police, should they have the equipment necessary to neutralize these threats or should the military be brought in?

they should have the equipment to combat these situation i dont think anyone would bitch
however if you bring out the same equipment for a peaceful protest people gonna bitch

I think Mr. Kyle’s favorite rifle was a .300 Winchester Magnum.

Which is why people can’t have nice things.

The first reason why people start bitching is if certain individuals or organizations are granted “extra-legal” powers to combat a true threat, soon enough these powers will be perverted and abused to combat another “threat”.

Often these powers are of a sensitive nature, so full disclosure is prevented, and “trust us” doesn’t really pass muster and for good reason.

I’m glad no police were hurt.

I’ve read 300 win mag & .338 lapua…

A rifle in either is going to be some serious $, plus I’m assuming he’s running a NightForce and Harris, etc. If his rig costs less than $3000 all told I’d be surprised and even then you’re looking at close to a dollar a round, hand loaded, to shoot.
