That is a disclaimer that is in there because in some European countries it is illegal to “create an environment that promotes prostitution”.

Doesn’t change the fact that a ‘true’ escort is usually hired arm candy and nothing else. They are not selling their sexual services per se, but are looking for easy money to escort wealthy guys to social engagements and provide company and conversation. Their services (for the majority of their clientele, at least) end with a peck on the cheek.
That’s why you can find a lot of attractive escorts, but hot prostitutes are few and far between. Unless you are willing to shell out over a thousand bucks a night.

Where exactly did I say that it’s impossible to buy sex over the web? That wasn’t what I was saying at all. My point was and still is that there is a distinction between a prostitute and an escort.
With a prostitute, sexual favors are a given; an escort may sleep with a client if he’s rich, successful, charming and looks like Brad Pitt - in which case, I don’t think that negotiating a fee will be very high up on her ‘to do’ list…
Posting a series of links to sites which may or may not offer sexual services doesn’t prove anything: you’re just throwing up proof against a comment that I didn’t make.
It has nothing to do with prostitutes having to call themselves escorts in order to avoid prosecution by the authorities.
If escort agencies routinely throw up terms of agreement which clearly state that sex isn’t on the menu (as in the first two links you posted), would you honestly hire a girl and expect to get some action at the end of the night? Regardless of what their reasons are for putting up these disclaimers, they still have no obligation to provide sex to a client, no matter what the client thinks they will get.

Unless you have inside knowledge of how far the women on those sites are willing to go with a client, you have absolutely no way of knowing that they sleep with 90% of their customers - especially if they advertise on a site which warns potential clients - in advance- that sex is strictly off-limits.
