That is exactly what happened happened to me. Stopped watching porn and shit got real with the wife in the bedroom.
Porn, especially more extreme/fetishized porn can be very bad for a mans brain. Porn has ruined a lot of peopleās sex lives, most people would be better without it
I agree 100%. Ive been with my wife for 11 years and after a week of not watching porn our sex life was and still is better then ever.
I think it depends on the context. Pornography can be a useful tool to figure out what one potentially does/doesnāt like in bed. Pornography can also spice up ones relationship (new and exciting ideas). That being said the majority of sex portrayed in pornography is far from realistic. Itās mechanical, at times degrading, it doesnāt focus on female pleasure, consent is rarely mentioned and mainstream pornography appears to be rather extreme/aggressive nowdays
There is a big difference between the latest branded, big name XXX film, amateur pornography and sayā¦ playboy magazines (from descending levels of extreme).
To a small extent. It robs you of creativity. It also lets you wanting to recreate the shit youāve seen which isnāt as much spicing up as it is your brain not being satisfied with what you see. The ever changing girls in porn are not recreatable in a monogamous relationship which becomes a problem for the porn addicted brain.
I had a lot of sex, a lot of it was very pleasurable and degrading for the girl. Actually there seems to be a linear relationship between the two, in my experience. (Clearly you gotta start slow, just a disclaimer lol.) Nobody mentions consent, nobody asks for it, itās implied. I actually think the only thing in porn sex that most of the time isnāt realistic is the context. I actually think that is a good thing most of the time haha
Enough of that
I assume a sexual dynamic had been established. Iām aware it isnāt as simple as asking ācan I do this/thatā during intercourse.
But mainstream pornography would have you believe itās appropriate to do all sorts of things right off the cuff (not sure how much detail I can go into on here).
To the sexually naieve child/teenager (letās be honest, exposure to pornography typically happens at a very young age) they may not be able to discern between reality and fantasy given a lack of real world experienceā¦ I guess it depends, I never thought pornography was to be taken seriously.
