Edited Feb 23rd

Decided to start a log so I can more easily track my progress since it all tends to get lost in the flow of BOI posts. Also I like to read a bunch of the logs here on a regular basis anyways so this will help me keep up with you guys.

Training

Started the Juggernaut Method shortly after starting this log.

I’ll post some of my more recent workouts as soon I can find them here. Got a new camera recently so I should be able to get some vids in here to make the log more interesting.

Goals and diet

Goal right now is to drop weight and improve/maintain strength. Started dieting about 8 days ago after several months on not giving a shit and getting fat. Macros are 90c/350p/75f at the moment, BW is about 233 last weighing but I think I’ll buy a scale so I can start weighing in at the same time of the day instead of just whenever I’m at the gym.

No cardio right now but I’ll add it in as I go.

Well it’s about time you start a log dude. I will definitely follow along.

You’ve definitely made quite a bit of progress since i first remember you posting videos. You used to be in the lower 200’s for bench and now you’re pushing the upper 200’s. Keep it up dude.

Nice getting a token weight like 275 for 5 reps, especially without the super-arch I used to use. Good quick session

Hey Trav, good to ‘see,’ you!

Did you not know what I look like?

I’ve seen you here and there…I’ve lurked in the boi threads as well.

Not that I’m stalking you or anyone else for that matter…erm, oof…better go finish my coffee!

haha…

What up, dude!

Nice work man. I gotta say kudos to you if it works for ya dude, training in the middle of the night just wouldn’t work for me.

I don’t lift always that late, but when I do I get to blast my music through the whole gym which is win!

No training today, legs are too sore to DL and it’s a scheduled off day anyhow

macros -20% for off days so 50c/310p/60f

Hey Travster! I will definitely be following the new log. I’m a total BOI stalker so I’ve seen some good vids you put up.

Felt like crap today and should have warmed up more on deads, even on the last set I could tell that my quads weren’t 100% ready to go. Also I should probably learn to feel out what weights to use on deads like I usually do for my bench, probably should have done less weight for reps this time. Oh well.

Come all the way over to the darkside trav. Hehe

Do the lighter work(speed days) on the days that you aren’t feeling it. Kinda like a neural charge thing where it sortof recharges you then the next week go after it.

I don’t know about speed work per say but I’ll be lowering the intensity and switching it up each session.

Vids of DL and rows:

nice lookin DL.

415 is easy for you!

Thanks MIM! Didn’t feel as easy as I would have liked but whateva

I think this morning I’ve decided to give the Juggernaut Method a full go, even though I’m no sure what exactly I’m doing after April it just looks like a cool program that I want to give a shot.

Today I’ll test my standing MP as I don’t usually train it but it’s one of the main movements.

Other than that I’m going to front squat instead of back squat, but I don’t think that will be a problem.

Solid DL man, looked like (and I KNOW it felt different) you had another 30+ lbs to throw on that bitch!

Kicking ass man, keep it up
