Senator Vitter on DC Madam's List

Larry Flynt says that he has 30 more names that he’s working on. That’s totally separate than the list of phone numbers that the DC Madam gave… Flynt took out an ad, offering a reward for information. Of the hundreds of leads he got, he has whittled it down to 30. He says he’s not against men paying prostitutes for sex, just against politicians who pay prostitutes while using morality or ‘family values’ as a campaign slogan.

I’m curious to see how this develops. I bet that any DC politician who has hired a prostitute now feels tremendous pressure and tension, wondering if they are on Flynt’s list.
Hello, bradley:

I’m amused at you using larry flynt as “proof.”

Are you ever uneasy about the allies you keep?

Again, I laugh out loud at you and your hypocrisy.

You really cannot comment on personal lives.

You should probably let the subset of Republicans (who care about these issues) take care of their own.

You really have no credibility when you castigate others’ personal lives.

bota,

Thanks. I never defended libby scooter.

Apology accepted.

But what about the man pardoning him?

The one sworn “to uphold the law”?

The one protecting his own staff by pardoning Libby?

What is he, in contempt of the law or just plain incompetent?

He was not pardoned. His excessive jail time was commuted but he was still fined and his conviction stands.

Till 23:55 the day Bush dances out of his office…

Oh the outrage, that I even bring this up. How dare I???

Jeffy, you’ll be singing a different tune if Larry Flynt digs up some Democrats who visit hookers. You’re like a weather vane blowing in the wind. You don’t have any principles, just partisan allegiances. The only difference between your reaction of anger or glee, is what letter comes after their name… (R) yay!! or (D) boo!!!

It’s like discussing politics with a child.

I already said there will probably be at least one Democrat who gets outed. So get ready to be really really happy, Jeffy! Yay!

Good evening, bradley.

Let me make this crystal clear: I don’t care what people do in their personal life. As long as laws aren’t broken, I don’t want to know.

Second, as has been pointed out, everyone expects the democrats to be morally inferior.

It won’t make headlines when the dems are on the list. This is both the MSM protecting their own and the fact that no one expects anything more from dems.

Therefore, you won’t see me trying to make political hay over this.

As usual, you are wrong.

Have a great evening.

So you were against Ken Starr investigating Bill Clinton’s sex life, after Starr couldn’t charge the Clintons with anything regarding Whitewater?

That’s very surprising to hear. I bet you probably thought it was a disgrace to make Clinton’s testimony public, too (Why did kids need to read all that, right? Outrageous. Do you remember which pages had the juicy parts?)

Oh by the way, here’s another Right Winger busted for using prostitutes:
Christian Action League president, Coy Privttee was arrested Thursday, July 19 on six counts of aiding and abetting prostitution. Privttee was released on the promise that he would appear in court, August 22.

At a press conference in Raleigh late Thursday, Rev. Mark Creech, executive director of the Christian Action League, gave the following statement and then fielded questions from the press:

It is with tremendous sadness that the Christian Action League has learned that it??s President, Coy Privttee was arrested today at his home in Kannapolis and charged with six counts of aiding and abetting prostitution.
Looks like the old “Republicans are the party of Family Values” campaign slogan will be off the table for 2008.

The Christian Action League is an interesting group, Jeff. They’re a right wing lobbying group that represents Christian Conservatives and evangelicals. So they make their money lobbying against pornography, homosexuality, gambling, etc, and for the sanctity of marriage and so on.

Good morning, bradley:

I refuse to go into detail, AGAIN, that Starr’s entire investigation was an outgrowth of Paula Jones’ sexual harassment case.

Unless, you are cool with women being harassed (or worse) and then justice being obstructed, you’d join me in condemning clinton’s behavior.

Again, the personal life was a distant second to the obstruction of justice and the perjury.

As far as leaking the information to the public, I never liked that part.

However, he was up against the clinton political machine. Further, Starr needed his charter to continue via the politicians. Therefore, he had to fight back in the public forum to maintain his support.

Again: Bottom line: One can do whatever they want in their personal life, AS LONG AS they don’t break laws.

Clear.

Oh, I don’t care one bit what the Christian Conservatives do or don’t do. As long as they vote properly they can worship Luna the Moon Goddess.
