Seated cable rows to neck

I was wondering if it is ok to do these using a NON adjustable pulley? Poliquin recommends adjusting the pulley to chest-height, but we don’t have one at school. Would pulling from the lowest postion get the same results?

I’m doing JM’s Maximal Size and trying to find an isolation excercise to compliment Supine Grip Pull-ups


maybe Hammer Strength machine rows instead?

When in doubt…always go with hammer strenght.
