But yeah, that’s Asia for you…nobody moved to do anything, not that the guy deserves much…idiots go through pure blooded red lights all the time.[/quote]
I think that shocked me more than the accident. No one moved to help… or do anything. If that was here, the other guys on the scooters would have been off of them seeing if anything could be done.
Surely they dont polute as much as a car. Fuel consumption is as low as 2.5L/Km.

I wouldn’t be surprised if they do. Small engines don’t have the same emissions requirement as cars. I have chainsaw that is responsible for most of the global warming in the northeast US. True story.

I drove a scooter in Italy this summer when I went to visit my grandmother. It was a fucking amazing time. Fuck the haters. If you can pull off a scooter with no shirt on, the girls will eat that shit up.

I plan not to wear my shirt for most of the time I ride my scooter.
Ive been to Europe a handful of times, and there isnt anything hotter than a chick in a short skirt riding on the back of a scooter.

Im most probably moving to a small country town, and so I was considering purchasing a scooter to get around with, as everything will be local, and I wont be travelling much on major highways.
Was wondering if anyone has any tips/advice/ideas on purchasing a scooter?

Can’t help you with any advice.
All I know about scooters is I hear they’re fun to ride but you wouldn’t want your friends to see you riding one.

So, why a scooter over a motorbike? I’ve always been curious why, outside of being a mod or skinhead, one would make that choice.

Well, because Im not going to be travelling long distances on the scooter. I will be only using it to go to work(5 minutes away), the gym(6 minutes) and to soccer training(10 minutes).
