When’s best to consume protein ? before or after workout ?

What supplements work ? what’s your favourite brands (with scientific evidence) and what supplements don’t work - Whey, Creatine, Glutamine, Multivitamin, Omega 3,6,9 fatty acids, BCAA’s, Maltodextrin/dextrose/waxy maize starch etc.
