I tried Scapular wall slides and I love them! however, I am curious, are they a muscle building excercise or a stretch? How do I build large scaps if it is only a stretch?

Anyway, I asked Cressey about that movement and he said it's basically an "activation" movement, designed primarily to activate the middle-back musculature that isn't often worked.
It's not really meant to build muscle, per say, but more to promote back health, better posture, etc.
