Sanders is Now the Frontrunner?

Cheer up in 16 months he will be a former President, and sooner than that a lame duck. And quite honestly almost no matter who wins it will be better than having that disaster in office. I have never seen anything like it. Every single decision he makes is the wrong one. You’d think just based on the law of averages he’d get a few right.

I actually thought about that once but dismissed it. No one wants to go down in history as the worst President who ever lived. Sure he does not like or appreciate the United States I think that’s obvious as he tries to reshape us into a European style country. But, no I don’t think he’s purposely making poor decisions.

He’s just a horrible President doing what he thinks is best.

Do you think Sanders would be better than Obama? Keep in mind his primary voters are people who don’t like Obama because hes not liberal/progressive enough.

And no need to mention his chances of winning, I already know your opinion on that matter.

in reality I don’t either, but some times my tin hat is on there tight, I get to thinking about the choices he makes and how divisive he is.

I’d consider, long and hard 8 more years of Obama before a single day for an admitted socialist.

I’ve talked to people that actually lived under socialism… People okay with Bernie haven’t, otherwise they wouldn’t be okay with Bernie.

Hey, you have every right (as do all Americans) to feel that Obama could have been playing for the other side. The Iran Nuke deal, stopping the pipeline to Canada which would have created thousands of jobs, using the IRS to harm various opposing political groups, spying on Americans using the NSA. Raising taxes on job creators during a recession. Cutting our military by 25%. I could go on and on. Anyone who has not at least considered that Obama could be purposely sabotaging the US is either stupid or a far left wing nut.

Other than killing Osama Bin Laden Obama has done absolutely everything wrong!
sufiandy wrote:

Obama is just slightly right of Bernie Sanders. Therefore, if I had to make a choice, and what a horrible choice it would be, I would take Obama over Sanders. The fact that we have a socialist running for President and the mainstream liberal media has not made more of a story of it speaks poorly for the press. They are fixated on why Donald Trump is doing so well, an American success story. Well I know why Donald Trump is doing so well. It is a direct backlash to the left turn Obama has taken this country in terms of his policies, how he has stirred (part of)the black population to riot and kill. How he has attacked Police Officers. And just as importantly how he has driven political correctness to maddening heights. Trump’s “direct speak” and his take on immigration seems like a breath of fresh air after almost 7 years under Obama.

Ha ha I have pounded that home more than I should have forgive me

The unemployment rate in the Euro Zone is 11.1%, and they have universal healthcare, mass transit, and free or low cost college.

But hey, let’s follow them, cuz they’re all cool and sophisticated with le pinkies in the air drinking their cappuccino !

You know that if they report an unemployment of 11.1% that shit must be reaching 30% or so…

Zeb is right, if Bernie beats out Hillary, Republicans might as well start picking out their choice of White House curtains.
Thanks for the advice ZEB:)

Someone has to steer you in the right direction. Hey remember back in the day when I would try to wake up all of the Rand Paul supporters? I would say Rand Paul is never going to be elected to the Presidency—ever.

Some would call me names, others would laugh. Still some used to say “how can you tell?” Some things are so freaking obvious…that was one of them. Sanders is another.

Yeah…I was just reminiscing.
how many elections have we been debating ? But I still won’t take your word for it:)
That’s okay Pitt, some people learn at a different rate than others.
I figure 3 elections that would be Bam Vs Mcain 2008

                               Bam vs Romney

now it is at present in my estimation Trump vs Sanders

Now let’s see you vote Republican to a fault and I normally vote for the other guy , now who was that that won 2008 and 2012 ? Jeez I can’t remember:)

No, actually you didn’t. I knew that Obama had charisma and could read a speech as well as anyone. I knew what was going to happen. You won’t find a post from me claiming otherwise. Of course I was hoping beyond hope he would lose. But I knew the inevitable would happen.

That’s why you should limit your comments on this site to maybe bench pressing or curls. Your political prognostication powers are exceptionally poor. Sanders won’t get the nomination much less capture the Presidency.

We really should bet on this.

If it’s Trump v Sanders, I might put $5000 on it.

quick check 22/1

Not to say whether I agree fully with his approach, or whether this should change your perspective of him (which I’m sure it won’t at all), here’s at least a little tidbit on Bernie as a “self-avowed socialist”:

“What am I trying to do in this campaign is to tell Americans what many of them don’t know: that the benefits for working people are a lot, lot stronger in many other countries around the world…This is not communism; this is not five-year plans, collectivized agriculture and nationalized industry…It’s a relatively mild, I would say a vanilla socialism,” Nelson said Sanders told them. “It’s basically focused on big businesses, and capitalist inequalities.”
