Same Plane Training

hey coach,
So one thing i always wondered about was if was important or not to train within in the same plan. For example, during one upper body workout doing only horizontal pushing and pulling and then on the other only doing vertical pushing and pulling. Or would it not matter if i did a horizontal push/pull and a vertical push/pull in each upperbody workout? im just a little unclear about this

Does it matter in what context? For me I like to split it up between vertical push and pull or horizontal push and pull when time is an issue. This method allows for very little rest between sets (doing a set of push then a set of pull) This way your tri’s don’t get exhausted before your chest or shoulders.

Ultimately, it’s not a bid deal imo. Enough stimulus and rest is what you need to worry about.
