I have tried the Ian King cheat sheets with this question and I am still unclear. If anyone can set me straight I am going to start a King program tomorrow! This is it: he lists rep/load ranges as such - hypertrophy/early training age, mixed hypertrophy-strength/intermediated training age, and neural/advanced training age. Now given his statements that as one progresses in training age hypertrophy reps are lower, which category am I shooting for if I am a lifter with advanced training age? The hypertrophy range or the neural? As an advanced lifter, if I wanted mixed hypertrophy/strength results would I choose that category even though it list intermediate training age? Some clarity would help (how exactly do i read/interpret his designations for rep ranges/load?), and I can get started on a new program! Thanks to all.
