Roy Jones Can't Say Spectacular

For me Roy was the greatest, really sad to see this. That last knockout he suffered was horrible.

I think that’s more brain fart than punch drunkeness. He’s not slurring at all otherwise… everyone catches on a word now and again.

yeah given how much those guys have to talk, you gotta let some slide. If you want to hear severely impaired speech function listen to evander holyfield, james toney, and sadly meldrick taylor.

Watching the great kick/thaiboxer Peter Aerts demento-mumbling in his interviews was painful.

I’ve read that the fighters themselves don’t realize it and actually have to be told.

James Toney is a language on it’s own

That’s the type of word he would get stuck on, even before the knockouts. Combination of his accent with his enunciation and all that good stuff.

Regardless of how talks he has taken too many knockouts. It’s almost as if he got punished with a soft chin for not getting hit enough early in his career.

speaking about too many knockouts…

Ya know what? It might be kinda freeing if Kimbo beats him. I mean, in a world view shattering, where is your god, embrace the entropy kinda way.

Regards,

Robert A

P.S. I think Jones should retire, but I would have a hard time saying no to the money. Also, I can’t say sphygmomanometer without sounding like Lenny from Of Mice and Men, so I shoudn’t throw stones…
