Rowing

Hey guys, I was wondering when you do cable row, bent row, dumbbell row…etc… Are you suppose to pull your shoulder blade together at the top of the movement?

I only do it with seated cable row where I just pull my shoulder blade back and start the exercise. This way it only stresses out the back and not the shoulder. And I wanted if it’s correct way?

Thanks!

Hi GB
Pulling the elbows and shoulders back is IMO the best way to row, they should both pull back together not seperately.

Hope this helps
