Routine Adaptations


I am planning to do a 3-day full body split to get size and strength for basketball. I am 14 years old, 125 pounds, 5 foot 5.

Should I do the same rourtine for all 3 days during a week? And then maybe change it up every 4 weeks? Or should i do different things every day during the week?

Please give me an idea or explanation on how to switch things up.

I dont know if I should do the same workout everyday for 4 weeks.

Please help.


I would change it up. Take a look at The Waterbury Method (use the search engine or in the training section). It is a good full body workout sounds like it is what you are looking for.

It is easy to change up your workout. Try Benchpress Monday, Incline dumbell press on Wednesday and dips on Friday. Lunges one day, back squats and front squats on the other two.
