though i’m over all happy w/ my arm growth, i’d like to make them rounder, and i’m not sure how to do it,i’m currently doing, standing barbell w/ easy curl bar, hammers, and preachers,i’ve been told hand position will make all the difference, can anyone shed some light on this subject? i thank you.
You are retarded
wtf? rounder?
Round arms? Great job!
If you are arms less than 16inches I demand you have this thread deleted.
well…if you mean more peak then( that mound shape ), lower your bodyfat and your peak seeeeems higher.
but… i dont even understand?
What does he even mean? peak? The rounded bulbous look of a top level pro? what??!
isnt that just based on diet and genetics…?!

Peak can be based on insertion points, length of muscle bellies etc. etc.
I wouldn’t want real short muscle bellies, because while you might be able to build A GREAT 14inch peak (haha) short muscle bellies severely limit your overall ability to gain size. But of course, no one wants to be big anymore, like Joe basically said, they want cute peaks on their 13-14inch arms cuz they think they will look cool like the pros.
Certain biceps works movements will probably develop peak more than thickness and vice versa. But until you arms are big enough to even be at the advanced bodybuilder level, it won’t make shit difference. You’ll still probably be to small to have thickness or peak lagging. They will both be lagging, because you are small and weak.
Back to my original comment, if you don’t a AT THE VERY LEAST 16inch arms, you should really consider deleting this thread.
Try doing HEAVY straight bar curls. Vary your grip…Closer grip = outside of bicep. Wider grip = outside of bicep. A neutral grip about shoulders width = both overal inner and outter. Hammer curls will work the middle head between the bi and tri. They will help more with making your arm look bigger by making it look taller.
But all in all…Heavy BB curls will plump them up and give them a more rounded look. But dont forget the #1 rule to make your arms bigger WORK THEM TRICEPS. They make up 2-3rds of your arm size.
Getting yourself bigger will make your arms bigger.

lol!!
Well if you want full, round arms you should do hammer curls as well as straight curls. That is all you need for biceps. Hit them twice a week at most. You should hit your triceps with 2-3 exercizes as well, and dip’s should be one of them. You stick with that for 3-4 months and you should start to see results. And make sure your doing deadlifts, to make your forearms and grip bigger and stronger.

Exactly. Muscle shape is largely dependent on GENETICS! If you’re not huge yet don’t even worry about “rounder”. I’m not even sure that’s a real word.
by rounder, i mean fatter, i’d like mine less narrow. and no i don’t have tiny 16 inch arms, pumped i’m alittle over 19. i appreciate you guys replies.
I don’t see how you can have 19 inch arms and be complaining. Pics?
Well I hope you aren’t lying because most people who ask those kind of questions tend to be skinny fucks which is why I asked.
Has to do with your muscle bellies to some degree, but you can build thickness in the biceps according to some pretty knowledgeable people. I’d google it.
With arms that size, what is your body fat? Cuz thats gonna play your perceived shaping as well.

To make them rounder, get fatter and fatter. Don’t do any lifting, just eat.
What a bunch of smart alecs, lol. HE most probably is referring to the WIDTH of his upper arms (example when you’re looking down over your bicep peak or simply hanging by your side) related to the outer bicep head. OR, if your arms are 19" unpumped, its strange you angst over the narrowness of your upper arms. If you feel its lacking, do neutral grip pull ups, pull downs, rows and OBVIOUSLY hammer curls.

This is what I was referring to as bicep thickness.
