I did something quite stupid, something I haven’t done before. While doing wide-stance squats, I got stuck getting out of the hole. Now, in the past, whenever this happens and I can’t lift the bar up, I just end up dropping down and sliding the bar off my back onto the pins. But today, for some stupid reason, I rounded my back, as a wrong GM to put the bar on the pins. It could’ve been that I lost my balance and felt I was going to fall back.
Anyway, my middle back is sore but doesn’t hurt yet. I iced it, took a contrast shower and took extra fish-oil to reduce the swelling. Other than being extra careful in the future, can someone suggest anything to minimize the extent of the injury.
It’s my middle back that feels queasy and sore but not the lower back.
