I was just wondering if performing Renegade Rope Training on my off days would interfere with my mass gains.
Well it depends on what your goals are. If they are exclusively mass you may wish to modify. I look forward to hearing from you. In faith, Coach Davies
A few sessions of rope training will only interfere with your mass gains if you don’t eat enough calories to make up for the calories being burned in these sessions. If you’re wanting to put on mass use the rope training for some fitness and conditioning and eat like a horse for your mass. The rope training can actually improve your weight training by enabling you to utilize more sets during the course of a normal workout with less rest. The type of endurance you build during a rope training workout is more specific to weight training than traditional cardio so you’ll quickly find a good carry over. Incidentally the rope training by itself is excellent for calf development.
