Well, only if you don’t want newcomers to think you’re on the entire pharmacy. :stuck_out_tongue:

BTW, this third person talk reminds me of Ormus in Blizzard game Diablo II. I’m now have trouble getting that bastard out of my head.

In other news it seems that Ron Paul is polling pretty well in Iowa at the moment: Iowa Republican Presidential Caucus Preference

He was polling only 3% in April. Now only 3 months later he is at 14%? I’ve got to admit that is a startling climb. So much the better though, if this poll means anything that is.

Ron Paul is also giving up his congressional seat: Ron Paul won't seek congressional term in 2012

I was expecting this to happen but not until the next election cycle.[/quote]

Well then for sure he’s going to win Iowa THERE’S NOTHING STOPPING HIM! Then…then…it’s ON TO THE PRESIDENCY! And then…PIGS WILL FLY.

LMAO!

Um, just for your edification that Iowa poll isn’t worth a thimble full of spit. Too early. And as I said the Paulites are organized. The funny part is that if he is (IF IF IF IF IF) polling at 14% right now that will be about where he is on the day of the primary give or take.

(Crowd noise) AWWW…

Take chill pill Ormus. Dude, I wasn’t insinuating this means he’s going to win. I just found it surprising that he’s 14% considering he was about 1-2% last time. And I have no idea whether or not this poll means anything at all which is why i posted it. In fact, I was hoping for your input from you and others, although without the adolescent condescension.

What are the most reliable polls, if any, in your book?

Gonna go out on a limb here and say ones done after Labor day?

You see this whole Paul thing is deserving of adolescent condescension and if I can’t do that then the Paul thread becomes even more useless than it already is because most of the entertainment value is now gone.

See what I’m sayin? Do ya?

Paul was “done” the day he entered the race. Unless of course someone can explain how an almost 79 year old man (a Congressman no less) who has the misfortune of coming off like an eccentric geezer is going to defeat all of the other republicans and then go on to defeat Obama.

You see no one can explain how this happens because it cannot happen.

Can’t be done!

And keep in mind I’ve seen plenty of weird stuff happen in the many years I’ve been involved in (and aware of) politics. But nothing even remotely close to that weird has ever happened.

?

I don’t see how that post relates to what you quoted.

Well, I’m terribly sorry. Perhaps you should explain in further detail what exactly you are talking about.

Thank you,

Zeb

After your dismissal of the Iowa poll, cloakmanor asked you what polls you actually think matter. I answered that I found it highly likely that your reply would be something like “polls performed after Labor Day”. That was all.

Zeb, I dare you to vote for Ron Paul…if you truly believe that Ron Paul has no chance to win, put your money where your mouth is and caucus for him in the primaries.

You have nothing to fear.

Why vote for a guy whose signature was on racialist propaganda? This anarcho-stormfront plant in the congress would be shredded if he experienced a miracle by securing the nomination. The moment he secured it, his racialist newsletters would be day in and day out news. The goofball doesn’t stand a chance against Obama.

CNN disagrees with you.

As to your other assertions it is hardly relevant since Ron Paul is not a racist even if his message happens to be well received by racists – that would be the fallacy of guilt by association.

Newsletters! Doesn’t matter if he really is racist, he collected the checks for use of his name. He’s on auto loss. The very second he’d receive the nomination, the only talk about nominee Ron Paul, all the way up to elections, would be about the newsletters. He screwed himself.

Of course, outside of the usual flocking to meaningless polls, he won’t even get that far.

You dare me huh? Well…I’ll show you I’m going to vote for RON PAUL! Um, no I guess I’m not.

LOL…Sometimes I think you’re are crazier than I am Lifty.

Oh come on, don’t chicken out. Ron Paul “doesn’t have chance” remember, you can “throw your vote away” just this once and rub it our faces when he loses.

In fact, I am going to dare everyone I know that thinks he doesn’t have chance to vote for him.

Let’s see if he really doesn’t have a chance.

Okay, all kidding aside. I take my vote very seriously and wouldn’t even consider throwing it away on Ron Paul, or any other candidate that I did not fully believe had at least a chance of ousting Obama. So no thank you Lifty. But kudos on a very good tactic. If you can get enough people to go for your idea Paul might actually finish out of last place.

I’ve never understood this racist accusation (something that some people seem to direct toward others with impunity). If Ron Paul is such a “racist” toward Jews then explain something to me. Why are his two biggest economic influences Ludwig von Mises and Murray Rothbard. He even has their pictures prominently displayed in his congressional office.

Also he wants to end wars that kill “brown people” overseas and wants to end the war on drugs which has disproportionately injured the black community. The racist accusation makes no sense at all regardless of some newsletters written a million years ago by somebody else.

It’s crazy talk.

Yet, McCain, Obama, and others have no problem either killing thousands of human beings or imprisoning people for taking a tote from a marijuana cigarette. Anyone see the absolute absurdity here?

Might have something to do with the newsletters that made the news…

If a miracle happened, and he got the nomination, the story would ramp back up and wouldn’t stop until he was defeated. Between that and his view of the civil war the man is already a lost cause.

Yes he is as long as people (which they I’m sure they will) are stupid enough to continue using the race card as easily as they use toilet paper.

The whole “throwing your vote away” argument is about as shit stupid as it gets. Voting your convictions is what we’re all supposed to be doing, in case some of you had forgot, and if Ron Paul represents your convictions then that’s who you should be voting for, it’s as simple as that.

Or maybe having your “team” win is super duper important, important enough to “throw your vote away” on a slick talking, well moneyed candidate who only kinda sorta meets up with your convictions. Yea…that’s a whole bunch of smart.

GO TEAM REPUBLICAN!! GO TEAM DEMOCRAT!! We’re totally gonna win this year!! /sarcasm
