Romney on Pot

Yes, it is but it’s so much more than that isn’t it?

I know at the tender age of 22 your little bag of weed that you keep stuffed in your sock drawer means a lot to you. But you better think twice before you call someone who is your superior in just about every way an “asshole.”

There are better drugs for cancer patients than pot, you do know this don’t you?

(eye roll)
Yes, but they are more expensive and therefore inaccessible to people that aren’t as filthy, stinking rich as romonid - and that is the bigger issue.

Pot is a cheap alternative to deal with the side effects of cancer medications…you do know that don’t you…you patronizing SOB.
Absolute nonsense! I had a friend who had cancer and he was not wealthy yet had the opportunity to take every imaginable cancer drug that there was. He never “needed” or asked for pot.

This is just one more (really lousy) excuse for those who smoke pot to rationalize it’s legalization. Very transparent and not at all necessary.

Hey, if you like smoking pot just say “I like smoking pot, and wish it were legal.”

Is that so hard?

Eye roll , you are uninformed Zeb
Well then why don’t you inform me as to why pot is better than the over 200 cancer drugs that have been passed by the FDA and are ready to be used?

Go ahead educate me.

I’ll expect to see some serious test results and comparisons of the various medications to weed.

This should be good I can’t wait.
Ok you guys aren’t going to change Zeb’s mind (trust me).

He just isn’t for legalization, it’s a culture change that will have to take place in this country. Unfortunately it is still thought of as a gateway drug (and with good reason is some cases). But one thing that doesn’t help the cause is that ANYBODY can go into a doc here in Colorado say they have back pain or they get head aches and BAM they get a card.

One good thing I have seen is some are working on a plant strain with the pain suppression characteristics but with the high removed (maybe this is something Zeb would be for?).
Look at the facts , marijuana is safe than alcohol even aspirin . People claim relief for symptoms ranging from menstrual cramps to nausea to pain from ms to migraine headaches treatment for different addictions to mental health. One benefit I get is if I am depressed and can not figure out why . I become very self effacing . This could make a huge dent in Pharma’s profits

looks like Obama and Romney have alot they can agree on.

Yes there is tons more. More money for prisons, more jobs for people keeping it illegal, more taxes coming out of my wallet to fund all of it. What else is there to think about? If you are for smaller govt, this has to end right? Why is it illegal? Where are all the dead bodies if it is so dangerous? Only dead bodies because of the crime it creates from being illegal. Stop the nonsense.

Well he’s certainly accomplished more than you have at this point in your very young life. And if you live to be 100 you won’t beat him.

But if you ever do graduate from both Harvard Law School AND Harvard Business School, make 200 million dollars by starting your own company and then go on to become Governor and then Presidential candidate let me know. I’ll be very surprised. Because from what I’ve seen you look like just one more run of the mill “legalize pot maaaaan” young idiot.

So there you have it.

But ignorance is bliss you have that to fall back on.

Wouldn’t you guys say there’s a huge incentive for pharmacy companies in keeping pot illegal?

I mean, why buy tylenol when you can go into your garden, roll a joint and smoke your pain away for pennies on the dollar?
Yeah, that explains everything!

Simple explanations to complex problems.

Are you a Ron Paul supporter too?

Au contraire

HAHA at hey, if you like smoking pot just say “I like smoking pot, and wish it were legal”

How about you just say you like big govt, and quit bitching about Obama’s expansion of it. Same old song and dance. "I’m for small govt…except for this, and for this, Oh and i forgot about this. Blah

And I don’t smoke pot, I just have to foot the bill to keep it illegal. And I’m sick of it.

Look at the facts ,
You were supposed to bring those facts. Where are they?

That’s faint praise if it were true. But alas guess what? Sucking smoke (of any kind) into your lungs is actually not good for you. And let’s not forget what Thunderboldt mentioned when this topic came up last month. How come insurance companies won’t insure you if they know you’re a pot smoker? Hmm…curious huh?

And every one of those things can be taken care of by a currently legal drug. So your point is?
One benefit I get is if I am depressed and can not figure out why . I become very self effacing . This could make a huge dent in Pharma’s profits

You might be depressed because you smoke pot.

Now run along and don’t come back until you have all of those studies comparing pot to well researched cancer drugs. And how pot is superior to them all and we must legalize it.

Or…

you can drop the facade and just post “I like pot and wish it were legalized” which is the real reason that you want it legal.

Truth is a hell of thing boys and girls.

Not all of us have rich parents who can pay our way through life. I know you big government socialist types have a skewed world view, but in reality the government(and politicians looking to get elected) doesn’t know whats best.

Big Govt Zeb, why do you want to tell others how to live their lives? Weren’t you just saying how upholding Obamacare could open the doors to govt telling you what to eat? Looking similar to me my friend!

You like smoking pot and you want it to be legal.

They have vaporizes , you can eat marijuana , as far as my depression I could be depressed for many reasons . I do not smoke much . And i do wish it were legal . But as long as people think they know what is better for me than me , Then it will remain illegal . I must aditt amusement that you so fervently defend the cost of keeping marijuana illegal and you have never smoked it

Better ones? according to whom? You, Doctors, or people who actually have cancer? Who do you think should get to make the choice about which one works best?

Side effects of synthetic marijuana that Romney promotes as M.M. alternative.

who can forget this little gem.
