Road Rage

Some skinny fucker in a mini-van got pissed because I passed in front of him in a WalMart parking lot (mind you, I must have been going all of 10mph at the time) so he follows me out into the street and then runs into the back of my bike.

Why has God allowed the world to be filled with so many dumbasses? They’re like roaches and they just keep on multiplying, growing in numbers until the entire world is simply overflowing with random stupidity.

Here’s a tip, if you can’t drive a car without losing your ever-lovin’ mind, QUIT DRIVING.

hope you are OK. did you get a license number? You going to pursue it?

I feel like watching people on the road is most indicative of stupidity in the world.

At least there’s something good to pull from it: If you’re ever stuck in a traffic jam in the city and feeling a little depressed, just look at the other drivers. Generally, you wonder how these people find a reason everyday not to put a gun in their mouths. Your life can’t be that bad.

No damage to your bike?

I’m more relaxed on the road nowadays, you learn really defensive driving in South Africa. The only time I’ve flipped out is when a minibus almost took me out, not once, but TWICE in one occasion. I pulled up next to him and told him to pull over cause I’m gonna kill him, while simultaneously reaching with my other hand trying to find my tire-iron.

Would you believe the guy had a taxi overloaded with about 25 people AND he skipped the traffic light. HAHAHA, me, a skinny kid, scaring off a minibus taxi full of people…

Anyway, good thing you didn’t attack him X, might of been mistaken for a case of roid rage instead.

I would have just LOVED to see the look on his face when you stood up! That complete “Oh Shit” look.

I see shit like that all of the time. I had to run out to get some milk Friday night and this car just parked behind me in the parking lot. I’m hitting the horn, I put the car in reverse so he could see my break light nothing.

I get out of the car and knock on the window and some balding fat ass tells me to go fuck myself and then guns it out of the parking lot almost hitting a kid on a skateboard.

Where’s the end of the story? Perhaps you left it out for legal reasons. You can PM me the answer, I promise I won’t tell anybody where the body is buried.

He tried to drive off but I got off the bike and jumped in front of his car (he was driving a rental). By then there were several witnesses and one of the guys driving by on a motorcycle at the time happened to be an off duty cop. There was minor damage because we weren’t driving that fast. A report was filed but I figure it will cause my insurance to go up when the damage isn’t significant. the dumbest thing is the guy has his kid in the car with him in a child seat. I was already pissed to the point of wanting to choke the dude until I saw his kid watching the whole thing so I tried to calm down.

The weirdest thing is there is more damage to his car than to my bike.

Hey Prof X, I am guessing the guy was really polite after he got a good look at you. I hope you’re okay, no damage to you or the bike.

The off duty cop stuck around until the police showed up and told the other one, “I tried to stick around to calm the situation because I didn’t want the big guy to hurt him”.

Hope your are alright prof. Did he not see your size?

Minivan guy was probably wishing he could run back inside and get a male escort.

You should have told him that the guy in the car wasn’t that big, and you wouldn’t have gotten hurt too bad.

I would have loved to have heard that the guy got what was coming to him.

Unfortunatley, even if the guy got out and started a fight with you, you’d somehow probably get in more trouble for defending yourself than he would for assulting you.

That sucks Professor. Glad you didn’t get hurt.

Your insurance shouldn’t go up. If he hit you in the back you can’t possibly be held accountable. He was moving when he hit your from the rear. You should not have any blame in this incident. Make sure the police report reads clear that he hit you. Your insurance should go after him for all the charges including your deductible.

glad to hear your ok. I think some people just hate the idea of sport bikes being on the road. I notice erratic behavior from other drivers when im riding that i never notice when im driving. I bet if you passed this guy in your car nothing would have happened.

or maybe the dude was just jelous of your bike while hes drivin a fuckin mini van.

lol…nice.

The dude should be getting charged with some type of assault, shouldn’t he?
Glad you are o.k.

I think it’s Hollywood and Human Nature that did this, not God.

Glad you’re OK X…

I’ve had my issues with road rage in the past but have since really toned it down…A wife and kids will do that do you.

But I think nothing sums up the problems and values of our western society more than when a person gets behind the wheel. Very ego centric, very impulsive and inconsiderate of others, which causes a lot of problems in the world and in the car.

The cop wrote the report stating that he committed a violation by hitting me and that I committed a violation by stopping right before he hit me. He was riding my ass and honking (mind you, I didn’t even know he was following me until he started blowing his horn and we were about 1/6 of a mile from where he thinks I cut him off in front of the store). I stopped my bike to either let whoever the idiot was go around me or to see what the honking was about (this was right at the stop sign going into the street. Because of the way he wrote it, neither of us got a ticket but because the other guy was renting his car, he will have to pay for the damages.

The only thing hurt on my bike was that he bent my license (which was easily bent back to its original shape) and he pushed my left rear signal light out of its plastic housing (this was easily pushed back in). Like I said, his car actually had real damage. No one looking at my bike would even know anything happened now.
