Our lifters Yony Andica and Gwen Sisto won the best lifter titles in the male and female divisons @ the Beast of the East meet in Durham, CT this past weekend.
Yony competed in the 77 kg class and gwen in the 63.
Gwen suffered a low back injury on Tuesday so she did’t compl;ete the training program and had to do physical therapy and lift light weights.
Yony’s lifts were
Snatch 130 made, 140 missed, 145 missed
C & J 160 made, 170 made, 180 made
total 310 kg
Gwen’s lifts
Snatch 75 made, 78 made, 80 missed
C&J 87 made, 91 missed, 91 missed
Total 165
