Rice Polishings?

In “Key’s to Progress” by John McCallum, he mentions that rice polishings are a huge source of the B vitamins (all this is of course in the 3 B vitamin chapters near the end).

What are rice polishings?? Where do I get them?

I’ve been looking up these things and the dictionary says: “the inner bran layer of rice rubbed off in milling.” I guess it’s the left over rice after processing (polishing).

Any know how to get them? or even if it’s worth getting them…
