Rice and Cheese

Try it. I use one cup of long grain minute rice with three slices of white American cheese.Just throw it on top as it’s steaming and then mix it in once it melts.

Tastes just like grits.

I make cheesy rice all the time also I throw in vegis ,any spices,or cooked meat as its steaming
makes for an eaisy one dish meal.

I use different cheeses, mainly Italian ones because I am Italian, to make things tastier. Also some of the cheeses I use are also lower in calories and fat, while being just tastier and healthier overall. Best of all worlds.

the cheese has protein as well in comparable quantities to fat

as for cheese it goes great with anything that in general that isn’t sweet

Just wash it all down with at least 12oz of milk and all is forgiven.
