Reverse Hyper Ultra Pro...

so im buying a new reverse hyper from westside barbell / elitefts. its going to cost a buttload, but i cant find a gym nearby (vancouver) that has one, plus I plan to use it like 4 times a day for lower back rehab. its going to be awkward having it in my apartment also. oh well.

so they recently came out with the “ultra supreme reverse hyper” with adjustable pad which supposedly can hit your thoracic more, or hit your lower back more, or hit your hammies more, depending on angle you set the pad. do you think this is really worth the almost $1000 more than the regular pro? i was planning on getting the regular one with the strap thats about $1400… but im already spending a shitload getting it shipped so i was wondering if it would be worth it to get the best of the best.

Reverse hyper for 1400?!?! Thank god my gym has one.

has anyone ever found a knockoff that still gets the job done? I’d be interested

I’d go with the regular Reverse Hyper Pro model. http://www.flexcart.com/members/elitefts/default.asp?m=PD&cid=157&pid=48

They used to sell another cheaper version than that, but it looks like they discontinued it.

The Reverse Hyper is too pricey in my opinion. Go for a Glute Ham Bench!

Have you searched Craigslist and ebay to see if you can find one cheaper?

I’m glad I found a gym with a GHR, reverse hyper, and oly platform. I’m going to be spoiled if I ever have to move.

Get the pro model

Also, you might be able to save a few bucks by ordering directly from Williams Strength ( http://www.williamsstrength.com/ ). They make the Elite equipment.
